My name is Rye. I build speaker cabs, primarily out of salvaged hardwoods, and pine. Apart from streamlined, super strong construction, I utilize atypical finishing techniques such as shou sugi ban (burned wood), complex front cutout designs, and splatter paint. Unlike my more pricey one-off designs, The Dale Cooped is made in batches, with standard top handles instead of recessed side handles, and have a more streamlined construction- the result is a great sounding cab that is very lightweight, around 15lbs unloaded.
